About Us

There are a couple of ways to participate in 4-H. One way is to join a club at your school. This year, Beauregard Parish will have 4-H Clubs at the following schools:

  • Corner Stone Chrisian Academy
  • DeRidder Elementary/ Junior High/ High School
  • East Beauregard Cloverbuds/ Elementary/ Junior High/ High School
  • Homeschool Cloverbuds/ Elementary/ Junior High/ High School
  • Merryville Cloverbuds/ Elementary/ Junior High/ High School
  • Pinewood Elementary
  • Singer Elementary/ Junior High/ High School
  • South Beauregard Lower and Upper Elementary/ Junior High/ High School

4-H is open to all youth in grades 4–12, and there are several ways to get involved. You can join your school club, participate in parish-wide events, or sign up for one of our exciting project clubs like Sewing, Photography, Livestock, Shooting Sports, and more!

What Makes 4-H Special?

4-H is more than just club meetings. It’s about growing in the 4 H’s:

  • Head – Learning and making smart decisions
  • Heart – Building friendships and showing kindness
  • Hands – Helping others and learning by doing
  • Health – Taking care of yourself and living well

What You Can Look Forward To:

As a 4-H member, you’ll receive a monthly newsletter with updates on parish-wide events and opportunities. Some of the exciting activities you can participate in include:

  • Pet Show
  • Cookery Contest
  • Community Service Projects
  • Christmas Cookie and Gingerbread House Decorating
  • AgMagic
  • Summer Camp (Grades 4–6)
  • LOST Camp (Grades 7–8)
  • 4-H University (Ages 13–19)

Want to Lead and Go Further?

If you're 14 or older, you can join the Beauregard Parish Junior Leader Club. This group meets monthly and helps plan service projects, lead younger members, and participate in regional and state events like Career Camp, Ambassador Boards, and Leadership Conferences.

Junior Leaders can also apply for state boards (like Fashion, Food & Fitness, Tech, and Citizenship) and even earn college scholarships for their leadership and service.
