Beauregard 4-H Youth development program utilizes an advisory process to provide input for educational needs and programing. We are currently concentrating our educational focus on Life Skills and Manners.Clover Bud programming in manners is conducted for over 300 Beauregard Parish 3rd grade students.4-H Club programming related to Life Skills are conducted in schools for 18 organized clubs consisting of a membership of 400 students with the educational focus related to Life Smarts/Skills activities. We have a wide variety of youth and adult volunteers who work as organizational 4-H Club leaders and project club leaders in Rabbit, Horse and Outdoor Skills.

We conduct educational activities or field days related to Pet care, judging contest, Engineering Field Day that covers Life Skills activities and guest speakers. We have received a drone and are conducting SET activities with drones and other equipment. Outdoor Skills or shooting sports covers safety and marksmanship as well as critical thinking skills. We have approximately 75 youth participating in the outdoor skills and other project club activities.
