A Little About Summer Camp

Camp will be held at our facility that has been used as the state 4-H summer camp for 102 years. In fact, it is the oldest 4-H camp in the South! More than 215,000 Louisiana youth along with over 9,000 volunteers have taken part in this experience. The camp is conducted at the Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center located in Pollock, Louisiana. Our scheduled week to camp is Monday, July 7 - Thursday, July 10, 2025. Campers will be able to be part of the fun and enjoy swimming, canoeing, archery, and line dancing. The cost for the overnight camp will be ABOUT $275.00 per camper. Scholarship opportunities will be available.

Camp Counselors and Adult Chaperones

As with any event, camp counselors and adult chaperones will be utilized. All counselors and adult chaperones will be required to attend training. All adult chaperones will be background checked.
