Emerald Achievement Award
The deadline to enter to submit the application is April 6th, 2026. All items are optional, but a total of 360 points must be earned for the award. Points are accumulated based on your total years of work in 4-H.
The basic requirements are as follows:
1. Must be 15 years of age by January 1 of the year application is made.
2. Must have three years of 4-H club work, including award year.
3. Must have completed one year of active Junior Leadership work excluding award year.
4. Must score at least 360 points on the application and scorecard.
5. A club member can only win this award one time.

Golden Clover Award
The deadline to enter to submit the application is April 6th, 2026. All items are optional, but a total of 250 points must be earned for the award. Points are accumulated based on your total years of work in 4-H.
The basic requirements are as follows:
1. Must be 14 years or under by January 1 of the club year application is made.
2. Must have at least two (2) years of 4-H club work, including award year.
3. Must score at least 250 points on the application scorecard.
4. This award can only be won by the 4-H member one time.

Graduating Senior- Honor Cords
Graduating Seniors can apply to get your Honor Cord to wear while walking at your high school graduation! You have worked hard during your 4-H career so wear your honor cord PROUDLY! Applications are available and must be submitted online HERE! Applications are due by February TBA, 2026!
Honor Cord Application Criteria:
The 4-H Honor Cord Award recognizes 4-H members who are graduating seniors. For 4-H youth to receive the 4-H Honor Cord, they must meet the following requirements:
- Be a currently enrolled 4-H member and in good standing
- Must be a graduating senior
- Must have been enrolled in 4-H for at least 3 years of their high school career
- Must have participated in at least one state-sponsored 4-H program in the past 3 years, or demonstrated exemplary parish-level program involvement
- Must complete the application form by the deadline
- Once an applicant submits a completed form, an email will be sent to that applicant’s respective 4-H Agent(s) for approval.
- Honor cords will be sorted and sent to parish offices using the application data in the early spring.
Applications are due by February TBA, 2026!
Graduation Seniors- Scholarships
Seniors, there are lots of scholarships out there for you through 4-H! Be sure you are in contact with the 4-H office so you are not missing out on these opportunities! We have money that we want to give away!!!
This year's 4-H Scholarship Application is below. By completing this one application, you will be entered for a chance to win any of the state 4-H scholarships that you qualify for, the local State 4-H Foundation Scholarship, and the Ascension 4-H Foundation scholarships.
The deadline to submit your application for review and feedback is February 6th, 2026, at 4:30 pm. The FINAL submission deadline is February 27th, 2026, by 4:30 pm. The application will be emailed out to all graduating seniors who have been enrolled for the 2025-26 school year. If you have not received the email, please let us know!
