In the Textile and Apparel Product Development class design and merchandising students work together to identify, research, and create an apparel line for a target market. Design majors Nicole Hogan and Faith Faulkner designed and produced a line of girl’s apparel based on an in-depth target market analysis produced by team mates Jacqulin DeBlieux, Chandler King, Amiee Murrah, and Whitney Thibodeaux. According to Hogan “We designed a children’s clothing line with a versatile classic All-American look tailored to young girls ages 4-6”. Faulkner added “Each piece is designed in such a way that the child will feel confident and comfortable to wear for any occasion. Our inspiration derived from a nautical theme”.
