The School of Renewable Natural Resources wants Louisiana to remain a “Sportsman’s Paradise.” Efforts in the school include research projects designed to address water quality and to help maintain healthy populations of both game animals and fisheries. The school supports efforts to sustain a vibrant forest industry and develop new wood-based products. Graduates of the school play integral roles with state and federal agencies charged with managing Louisiana’s abundant natural resources.
