Diseases of Peas and Beans

In the southern United States, the greatest losses in bean production are caused by seedling rots, rust, anthracnose, bacterial blight, several mosaic viruses and root-knot nematodes.  Pea diseases are generally associated with root rots, bacterial blight, powdery mildew and several different virus diseases.
