It is advisable to save all unsaved documents/data, close all open programs, and reboot your computer after resetting your AgCenter password.
If you are using a computer joined to the AgCenter's Domain, using the Ctrl-ALT-Delete method (shown below) to change your AgCenter password is the most reliable and straightforward way to reset your password.
Use Control-Alt-Delete to Change Your Password on Domain Computers
If you sign into Windows on your computer using your AgCenter credentials, your computer is joined to the AgCenter Domain. If your computer is joined to the AgCenter Domain AND you are connected to an AgCenter network in one of our field offices or to the LSU A&M network (via Ethernet or eduroam wireless) on campus, you can change your AgCenter password by pressing the Ctrl-Alt-Delete key combination on your keyboard, and using the “Change a password” option shown to the right.
If your computer is joined to the AgCenter Domain, your username will contain the word “agcenter” as shown in the image to the right.
It is advisable to save all unsaved documents/data, close all open programs, and reboot your computer after resetting your AgCenter password. This recommendation is the same, regardless of which method you use to reset your password. If your computer is joined to the AgCenter Domain, you are signing in using your AgCenter credentials, and you are connected to one of our AgCenter networks around the state, or the LSU network on campus, you would sign into the computer using your new password after it is rebooted.
