From its beginning in 1961 the LSAM (formerly the LSUC) has had a rich history complete with Directors, Curators, Graduate and Undergraduate Students, Postdocs, Visiting Researchers, and Collaborators. Research Expeditions locally and around the world have helped fill our cabinets with fascinating specimens, some of which have been discovered as new to science.
