This training is for current Certified Commercial or Private
Pesticide Applicators who need to add and/or update their Worker Protection
Standard Trainer status. If you have not attended a WPS Train-the-Trainer
program since November of 2018 and would like to continue to provide WPS
Training to workers and handlers, then you need to plan to attend a WPS
Train-the-Trainer training. By attending this on-line training, you will be certified as
a Worker Protection Standard Trainer. Once you complete this training, you can
recertify this category at your normal recertification training. This training
event will be held on Microsoft TEAMS (virtually). You will
need to have a working computer with good Internet. A 'virtual' link for the event will be
sent the week before the event. Note: Please contact the LSU AgCenter Pesticide Safety Education Program with any questions or to schedule a time to participate in this training. It will take approximately 2 hours.
