First-Time Test Takers

The Pesticide Safety Education Program offers training called PACT (Private Pesticide Applicator Certification Training). The PACT program is for individuals who are applying pesticides on their own land (or leased land) and do not charge a fee for pesticide applications.

There is an online video course on Moodle that can be purchased for a fee here: Moodle Course

The Moodle course covers material from the National Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual. Use the Moodle course as a test prep guide. This Moodle course is optional, but many find it helpful to prepare.

When you are ready to schedule the PACT testing, click here to select a testing location and pay a fee: PACT Testing

Email lsuagpsep@agcenter.lsu.edu after payment and selecting a testing site to schedule a date and time for testing.
