What is a short-term volunteer?

A short-term volunteer is an individual who provides one-time or infrequent assistance to the LSU AgCenter. These volunteers may participate in specific events, projects, field days, or research / extension that require temporary support.

Do I need to take Volunteer Training(s)?

All LSU AgCenter Volunteers are required to complete Volunteer Orientation and Civil Rights Essential Training.

How do I access the Training Modules?

• Login to Home | LSUAgCenter
• Users may utilize Google login
• Search Courses "Volunteer Training & Development"
• Select "Volunteer Orientation" or "Civil Rights"
• Enroll Me
• Complete Course and Keep Certificate for your records.
