Every year, thousands of Louisiana citizens volunteer their time to develop and facilitate research-based educational programs across the state by participating in various voluntary certification programs provided by the LSU AgCenter. These programs include the Louisiana Master Gardeners, Louisiana Master Farmer Program, and the Louisiana Master Cattleman Program.
Every year, thousands of adults take part in one of the LSU AgCenter's Master Certification programs, such as the Master Gardener program. Since its inception, more than 4,750 individuals have participated in the program to become certified Louisiana Master Gardeners.
