Our overarching goal is to deliver reliable, timely and applicable information that is directly aligned with stakeholder needs. Information delivery is accomplished through a variety of methods, including on-farm demonstrations, workshops, field days, school club meetings and camps. We also extending information via our website, newsletters, mass media, social media, and publications.

LSU AgCenter extension programs are a conduit from the University. Extension programming is statewide and is funded by federal, state and local governments. We work very closely with our community and industry partners throughout the state, with an overall goal of bringing research-based information about agriculture, 4-H and youth development, healthy communities and natural resources and the environment to the people of Louisiana.
