This study integrates regional economic theory with empirical analysis through the construction of an interregional core-periphery input-output (I-O) model of the 10- parish Monroe, Louisiana, Functional Economic Area economy. The model is used to estimate trade relationships and resulting economic linkages between the core and periphery economies. (PDF format only)
