Magdi Selim, the A. George & Mildred G. Caldwell Professor of Soil Sciences in the School of Plant, Environmental & Soil Sciences, has been named recipient of the International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS) Liebig Award, the highest award given by IUSS and the global soil science communities. Selim will receive the honore as part of the 20th World Congress of Soil Science in Seoul, South Korea, in June 2014.
