Weindorf receives Fulbright Award

David Weindorf, an assistant professor in the School of Plant, Environmental and Soil Sciences, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholar grant to teach and do research at University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Weindorf will conduct extensive soil classification program in the Transylvanian area of Romania and teach a class in global positioning systems for mapping soils. He is one of approximately 1,100 U.S. faculty and professionals who will travel abroad during the next academic year through the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program. The Fulbright program is administered by the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
