- Nursery, landscape industry open house set for May 12 in Hammond

The LSU AgCenter Hammond Research Station will host an open house for nursery, landscape, retail garden center, irrigation and related industry professionals May 12.
The open house from 9 a.m. until 12 noon will provide members of the industry with an opportunity to tour the station and see how plants are performing, said LSU AgCenter horticulturist Allen Owings.
The event requires no pre-registration and will include a jambalaya lunch.
The Hammond Research Station is located at 21549 Old Covington Highway (Louisiana Highway 1067) east of Hammond.
