Cenla Forestry Forum set for Feb. 22

The Cenla Forestry Forum is scheduled for Feb. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the LSU AgCenter Evacuation Shelter, 8125 U.S. Highway 71 in Alexandria.

Topics on the program include the use of woody biomass in electric power generation in Louisiana, oil and gas surface rights and damages, Louisiana One Call, an invasive species update and new feral hog control regulations.

Registration is $25 by Feb. 18 and $30 thereafter. Lunch is included.

Send the fee along with your name and address to Robbie Hutchins, LSU AgCenter, 300 Grady Britt Drive, Alexandria, LA 71032. Checks should be made payable to the LSU AgCenter.
