Hi Dan,

One of my house plants is showing distress on some of its leaves. I don’t know what to do about this or what is causing it. I would appreciate any input from you.

This is a spathiphyllum or peace lily. Brown leaf tips may be caused by:

• Allowing the plant to wilt severely between waterings.
• Keeping the soil constantly soggy.
• Providing too little light – the plant should be in front of a window.
• Low humidity – be sure a vent does not blow on it.
• Over fertilization – be careful not to fertilize excessively.
