LSU Agricultural Center Policy Statements (Ag Center PS's) represent policies of the LSU Agricultural Center. They are subordinate to the LSU System Permanent Memoranda (PM's), to the By-Laws and Regulations of the LSU Board of Supervisors, and to state and federal regulations, laws and statutes.

LSU Agricultural Center Policy Statements are established for the purpose of governing the LSU Agricultural Center campus. Policy Statements serve to implement or interpret various laws, rules, regulations, or policies and/or reflect the LSU Agricultural Center’s method of managing its affairs. The LSU Agricultural Center takes care to assure that Policy Statements, when issued, comply with the applicable controlling laws, rules, regulations, and policies. It is recognized that changes in such laws, rules, regulations, and policies may result in all or a portion of a Policy Statement becoming incorrect until necessary revision is made. Please be advised that, in such cases, those portions of Policy Statements that are contrary to or in conflict with any controlling law, rule, regulation or policy are invalid. To the extent that the remainder of a Policy Statement is unaffected by a change in controlling laws, rules, regulations, or policies, that remaining portion of the Policy Statement will remain valid and in effect.
