The vaccine was invented at the AgCenter Department of Veterinary Science by Dr. Donald Gene Luther, who is also the president of the company. This particular treatment only affects bovine strains of the disease, which can cause anemia, weight loss and death in cattle. Dr. Luther's son, Donald G.
