Since its inception in 1986, the AgCenter’s Office of Intellectual Property has enabled commercialization of AgCenter technology and research through patenting and licensing. Each year, the AgCenter provides important services, such as research and product testing, for 100-plus companies. Strong relationships with our faculty and corporate partners have allowed the Office of Intellectual Property to deliver tremendous value back to the university and our stakeholders across Louisiana and the world.
