Thursday, June 11

7:30 am: depart hotel; drive to Greenleaf Nursery, Tahlequah, Ok (84 miles/90 minutes)

Noon: lunch in Tahlequah

1 pm: depart for Compton Gardens, Bentonville, AR (93 miles/95 minutes) [Crystal Bridges Museum of Modern Art: http://www.crystalbridges.org/ ]

2:45 pm: tour Compton Gardens/Crystal Bridges Museum of Modern Art

4 pm: depart for tour UofA Plant Evaluation Trials

6 pm: arrive back at hotel

Evening: group dinner

Friday, June 12

8 am: business meeting at Botanic Garden of the Ozarks

Noon: box lunch at BGO

Optional tour: Dr. Gerald Klingaman is offering to lead a post-meeting hike to King's River Waterfall for any who would like to see a bit of the Ozarks up close and personal. It is an easy 2 mile hike along the King's River with a lot of ferns, wildflowers and the like. We would have to car pool to the site - about 55 miles east of Fayetteville. It will be on Friday evening (leave Fayetteville about 3:00 after the meeting breaks up which I think is around noon).
