Nominations are taken from anyone in the LSU AgCenter system for any current paid member of Chi Epsilon Sigma. The nominee must have had one or more years of service with the LSU AgCenter and can be nominated by one or more of their co-workers. The nomination must show how the nominee has gone above and beyond their formal, identified job duties to exceed the needs of LSU AgCenter clientele and how the nominee reflects excellence in service with compassion, vision and integrity. It must also show how the nominee recognizes and acknowledges that attitudes and actions are important and affect the clientele of the LSU AgCenter as well as co-workers. It must also show how the nominee demonstrates the purpose of Chi Epsilon Sigma, which is to ‘maintain the standards and ideals, uphold morale, prestige and respect of the LSU AgCenter Support Staff.’ Former recipients may only be nominated after five years have elapsed since their award.
This year’s winner uses her skills and experience to complete jobs both accurately and in a timely manner. She does her work extremely well and demonstrates great integrity when dealing with anyone in her scope of work. She is always willing to give a helping hand and does her work with excellence and takes pride in her work. She always makes everyone feel like you are her number one priority. She has worked tirelessly for Chi Epsilon Sigma and continues to do so today. She’s a great morale booster and loves to crack a joke and has everyone laughing in no time. She does indeed go way “above and beyond the call of duty” in her work, in her attitude towards others, and she does all this with compassion and integrity.
We had two outstanding nominations this year including: Ashley Thibodeaux and Jodi Davis who received two nominations.
This year’s Above and Beyond the Call of Duty winner was nominated by Karen Daigle and Faye Ritchie and is Jodi Davis.
Congratulations Jodi Davis!
