The purpose of the Performance Evaluation Process is to establish a structured and consistent approach to assessing the work performance of all employees. This procedure supports the following outcomes:

  • Align Goals: Ensure that individual performance aligns with the organization's strategic objectives and goals.
  • Promote Accountability: Foster a culture of accountability and responsibility by setting clear performance expectations and standards.
  • Recognize Achievements: Acknowledge and reward outstanding performance and contributions to the organization.
  • Facilitate Communication: Encourage open and transparent communication between employees and management regarding performance expectations and outcomes.

Associates and postdocs should receive a performance evaluation from their supervisor by December 31 once per calendar year. The Unit Head signature on the form is optional. Only the supervisor and employee are required to sign the form
