AGxCEL In-person Orientation Registration





To introduce new LSU AgCenter employees to the policies and procedures and set them up for success from their first day, all newly hired faculty and staff staff will enroll and complete the AGxCEL on demand training modules below found in AgEd. In these modules you will introduced to the many resources and support units here at the LSU AgCenter.

At the conclusion of the Online New Employee Orientation, you will have reviewed the following support units of the LSU AgCenter.

  • Office of Human Resources
  • Information Technology
  • Accounting / Budget / Fiscal
  • LSU AgCenter Communications
  • OSPIP

New Employee In-Person Orientation

In-person orientation will focus on the LSU AgCenter Vision, Mission, and Goals of Achieving Organizational Excellence in all things Research, Extension, and Teaching. New Employee Orientation helps new hires understand the mission and vision, hear from our leadership team, and have networking opportunities.

Oientation Agenda

Employees will receive information regarding Orientation in their onboarding email. The one-day orientation will be held on even number months in 214 Efferson Hall and will provide staff with the opportunity to:

  • Learn more about our organization’s culture
  • Hear from leaders and administrators
  • Meet and have conversations with other new employees
  • Learn how to find resources related to their employment
  • Receive their LSU AgCenter Portrait, AgCenter Parking Pass, and Tiger Card.
