4-H Youth Wetlands Program: Training future leaders to save America's Treasure
The Youth Wetlands Education and Outreach Program is a statewide LSU AgCenter 4-H program sponsored by the Office of Coastal Protection and Restoration. The program is designed to heighten students’ awareness of Louisiana’s wetland loss through an organized educational program of outreach, empowerment and advocacy.
Youth Wetlands Program Curriculum
Curriculum for Youth Wetlands Program 2015 encompasses hands-on, environmentally based lessons with a wetland focus. Program materials, including structured lesson plans, materials used to teach lessons and step-by-step procedures to activities, are provided at no cost to participating educators.

(Video) Wet Work is a video series that gives students a glimpse into the careers of wetland professionals who are making a difference in Louisiana's unique habitats. It's part of the 4-H Youth Wetlands Program, which is sponsored by the LSU AgCenter and the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority. The teen hosts in these videos work alongside these professional wet workers to learn firsthand about the importance of Louisiana's wetlands. (Runtime- :58)

(Distributed 07/09/09) BATON ROUGE, La. – Students attending the robotics class at the LSU AgCenter’s 4-H University squared off in fierce combat with robots they built and programmed. The robots fought in a circle, and the object was to push an opponent out of a 2-foot ring.
