(01/06/26) BATON ROUGE, La. — For 10 years, the Herb Society of America Baton Rouge Unit has been hosting an Herb Day Sale, giving guests the chance to shop a wide variety of fresh herbs, native plants and garden treasures.

On Feb. 28, the 2026 Herb Day Sale will take place at the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will have thousands of vibrant culinary and medicinal herbs.

Local experts will be attending to give visitors gardening tips. Homemade herbal products and crafts will be on sale, and there also will be children’s activities and live demonstrations.

Food trucks will be on site, and admission is free. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled for March 1.
