The Catahoula Parish 4-H Shooting Sports program provides youth with a safe, structured, and fun environment to learn marksmanship, firearm safety, and responsible shooting practices. Participants can choose from two disciplines: Shotgun (12 gauge and 20 gauge) and Small-Bore .22 Rifle.

• January: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
• February: 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd

Upcoming Competitions:

• Northern Regional Match: March 6th–15th at the Ouachita Parish Shooting Range
• State Match: April 10th–19th at the Ascension Parish/West Baton Rouge Range

These events give youth the chance to demonstrate their skills, meet 4-H’ers from across the state, and grow in confidence and sportsmanship.
