St. John Parish 4-H members have a fantastic opportunity to give back to their communities by volunteering at the 50th Andouille Festival!
Youth can volunteer with the permission and presence of their parents for 1.5 hours on Saturday, October 18 abd Sunday, October 19 of the festival and receive (1) free entry and (1) one-day ride band. Volunteer times are Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sunday, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., or both days. Students will also be teamed up with Osprey Initiative to learn more about recycling and beautification while also being interactive with festival goers.
4-H members are also invited to volunteer their time at the annual Andouille Run/Walk on Sunday, October 19. Youth will help distribute finisher medals and water to runners at the finish line. Students are also welcome to run/walk, but must be accompanied by an adult. Lunch will be provided, and each student will receive a drawstring backpack with an Andouille Run t-shirt.
In order to take advantage of this opportunity, youth must be enrolled 4-H members and complete the volunteer sign-up form that is located on this page. All volunteer forms are due to the Parish 4-H Office by Thursday, October 9, 2025. Forms can be brought to the 4-H Office, mailed or emailed.
