(06/24/25) BATON ROUGE, La. — Artists of all abilities are welcome to participate in an icon painting workshop at the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden. This workshop will introduce attendees to the unique art style of the Byzantine era.
From Aug. 17 to 23, painters will take part in a weeklong retreat that will teach them traditional painting techniques that began thousands of years ago. The workshop will be peaceful and contemplative as creators make individual pieces of meaningful art.
