(04/22/25) BATON ROUGE, La. — East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners will present a program on propagation on Thursday, May 8 at the Greenwell Springs Road Regional Branch Library located at 11300 Greenwell Springs Road.
If you’ve always wanted to grab a cutting and see if you could get it to grow, this program will show you exactly how to do this successfully. Cheri Fasy will describe the many ways plants are propagated, and she will be assisted by several fellow Master Gardeners who will demonstrate the processes. Depending on the plant, there are many different techniques that can be used, and Fasy will explain how to do it. If time allows, participants may be able to try their hand at propagating a plant or two.
This program will begin at 6:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public, and there will be door prizes given away.
