Music in the Gardens returns with local bands, food

(04/09/25) BATON ROUGE, La. — Come enjoy local artists at the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden as Music in the Gardens returns for the third year. Bring friends and family, lawn chairs and your favorite picnic setup to soak in some tunes.

The event on May 8 will feature three performances from musicians from around Louisiana and will be in the Steele Burden Memorial Orangerie garden. The lineup includes the band LeTrainiump from Mamou, Louisiana; Molly Taylor; and Rhett Glindmeyer.

Several local food trucks will be at the event.

The concert will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at 8. Tickets will be $20 for adults and $5 for children, and Friends of LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens members will receive 20% off for up to four tickets.
