(04/03/25) COVINGTON, La. — The LSU AgCenter and Louisiana Sea Grant will host a pond management workshop Wednesday, April 23, in Covington.
The event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at the AgCenter’s St. Tammany Parish office at 1301 N. Florida St. Anyone interested in effectively managing ponds is invited to attend.
Presenters will include Carol Franze, an agent with the AgCenter and Sea Grant, and Will Afton, an AgCenter horticulture agent. They will discuss water quality, pond health and plant management. A question-and-answer session also will be held so participants can get information on issues they are interested in.
