ADA Accommodation

Contest Rules

The Caldwell 4-H Pet Show is scheduled to be held Monday, March 23 at Caldwell Parish High School. Registration will be at 1:30 p.m. with the Pet Show starting at 2:00 p.m.

  1. All animals must be in cages or on a leash.
  2. 4-H members can enter one category, two categories, or all three categories, but they cannot enter two animals in the same category.
  3. Contestants will give a short speech about themselves and their pet which should include:
    1. contestant's name, age, grade, and school
    2. pet's name and how name was chosen
    3. where you got your pet and how long you have had it
    4. care required for your pet (food, housing, health)
    5. what your pet can do, a funny or interesting story about you pet

Categories

  • Dogs
  • Small Animals (hamster, turtles, lizards, birds, cats, rabbits)
  • Large Animals (goats, sheep, horses, cows)
