Impact

Louisiana 4-H operates in 2,120 schools and community locations, promoting agricultural literacy with its flagship event, AgMagic. Engaging tens of thousands annually, the 4-H Beyond Ready initiative focuses on personal growth, adaptability and confidence to prepare members for success. Recognizing the vital role of 4-H camps in youth development, Louisiana 4-H has secured over $77,000 in scholarships, enabling free camp attendance for 10% of youths statewide and ensuring access for those who might otherwise be unable to participate.
