Hurricane Francine sugarcane crop damage not widespread and less severe than Ida

(Video 09/19/24) Hurricane Francine has come and gone but has left her imprint on Louisiana’s sugarcane crop. The winds and rain from the storm laid down much of the crop in the southeastern area of the cane belt. LSU AgCenter reporter Craig Gautreaux has the story.
