Creating art serves as an outlet for creativity and imagination. Creating art also strengthens problem solving and decision making skills, encourages inventiveness, and helps develop communication and fine motor skills. Entries for the 2025 Caldwell 4-H Art Contest are due by 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 3. Entries will not be accepted after October 3.
Mixed media is an entry created using a combination of two or more media from the drawing and painting categories.
Entries must have category, media that was used, subject matter, name, age, school, grade, and address written on a piece of paper or index card and attached to the back of the entry. Subject matter, category, and media must be included. Entries that do not have this information will receive a ribbon but will not be eligible to place.
