Brent Dicharry has been a dedicated contributor to the St. James 4-H program for over 25 years, from 1996 to 2023. Serving as a community liaison between Gramercy, the School Board, Parish Government, and the AgCenter office, he fosters collaboration and support. Brent's leadership roles include President of the Parish 4-H Livestock Advisory Board and the South Central District 4-H Livestock Board. His impact extends beyond administrative duties, actively participating in various events and fundraisers, ensuring their success. Brent's efforts in securing land for a multipurpose building and a new livestock barn showcase his commitment to program development. Formerly serving as Gramercy's Chief of Police and St. James Parish's Recreation Director, Brent's dedication to service earned him the Investigator of the Year award for Louisiana. His unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and community development makes him an invaluable asset to the St. James 4-H program and the broader community. Through his leadership with the livestock program, he has raised over $100,00 to help the youth of St. James parish.
