Harold embarked on his 4-H journey as a parent supporter, quickly transitioning to a pivotal volunteer role in Livingston Parish's shooting sports program in 2012. Serving on advisory committees at both parish and state levels, Harold's dedication and expertise have been instrumental in organizing regional and state shoots since 2014. Recognized as Coach of the Year for local baseball and honored with the Livingston Parish Volunteer Award, Harold's leadership extends to coaching Louisiana's national archery team for seven years and chaperoning the National Shooting Sports Competition for eight years. His impact on Livingston Parish's shooting sports program is profound, attracting significant enrollment and securing substantial funding. Harold's emphasis on education and safety fosters inclusivity and growth, making it one of the largest programs in Louisiana 4-H. Beyond his 4-H endeavors, Harold serves as a respected deacon, known affectionately as "Coach" for his ability to forge meaningful connections with youth. Harold's induction into the Hall of Fame celebrates his selflessness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to nurturing youth through 4-H.
