Brenda Myers has dedicated over 35 years to 4-H volunteering, starting in 1985 when her eldest child joined. From chaperoning overnight trips to leading sewing projects, Brenda's contributions have been invaluable. She's served on the Jefferson Davis 4-H Foundation Board since 1986, ensuring its financial stability. Brenda's leadership as a Jr. Leaders advisor and sewing club leader has shaped countless youth. Her commitment earned her recognition as Parish Volunteer of the Year and Spirit of FCCLA Award. Outside 4-H, Brenda is active in her church and community, serving on various committees. Her legacy of service and mentorship has left an enduring impact on Jeff Davis Parish's youth and families. Mrs. Myers has readily taken on any 4-H responsibility when asked and carries out her duty with the upmost dedication. She is the volunteer you want to have around because she makes a positive impact on the youth she serves. Her work in the community extends to Catholic Daughters and the Ladies’ Altar Society, and she and her husband square dance weekly often hosting demonstrations at local events.
