Lisa Stewart

Mrs. Lisa has made a profound and diverse impact on 4-H. As a dedicated parent volunteer, she founded the South-Central District Rabbit Show and two thriving Ascension Parish project clubs, Wiggle & Wags and Canine Connections. She serves on various boards and advisory committees, including the Adult Rabbit Livestock Board and the Ascension Parish 4-H Advisory Board. Recognitions for Mrs. Lisa's contributions are abundant, including the Ascension Livestock Volunteer Service Award and Leader Years of Service Award. Her initiatives have engaged over 300 youth in canine-related community service, forging partnerships and raising substantial funds for 4-H programs. Despite personal challenges, Mrs. Lisa's dedication to 4-H remains steadfast. Her tireless commitment, while managing multiple jobs and volunteer roles, showcases her selflessness and passion for empowering youth. She has built relationships with local veterinarians and within the industry to support the dog project. These foundations have allowed 4-H youth to work animal shelters during weather emergencies, assist with dog agility meets and visit nursing homes. Mrs. Lisa's legacy is one of resilience, compassion, and transformative leadership, inspiring countless youth and leaving an indelible mark on the 4-H community.
