(03/04/24) BATON ROUGE, La. — The LSU AgCenter and the School of Plant, Environmental and Soil Sciences will present the 22nd annual Baton Rouge Spring Garden Show and Plant Sale March 8 to 10 at the John M. Parker Coliseum on the LSU campus.
The show will open Friday, March 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. with live music. The full show will run Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. All three days will include numerous vendors selling plants and a variety of yard, garden and patio merchandise.
Heather Kirk-Ballard, AgCenter consumer horticulture specialist, said the show is a great opportunity to gain access to a wide variety of plants in one place.
“It's fun for the whole family,” she said. “You can ask the experts from the LSU AgCenter about plants and gardening, and there are fun activities for the whole family.”
General admission is $7 per person, and children 12 and under will be admitted free of charge. LSU and Southern University students can get in free with a student ID.
