Introducing an exciting breakthrough in rice seed treatment technology developed by LSU AgCenter scientists. This treatment is designed to fight against diseases that are spread through contaminated seeds, wind, rain, or insects, such as sheath blight, narrow brown leaf spot, and bacterial panicle blight. Our new treatment is more effective than current fungicides, preventing the browning, rotting, and decay of rice grains. It greatly reduces the spread of fungal and bacterial diseases, leading to higher crop yields and ensuring a healthier future for rice production.
