The LSU AgCenter, Quail Forever, and the Louisiana Forestry Association will hold a Forestry and Wildlife Stewardship Workshop on Tuesday, June 14 at the LSU AgCenter Union Parish Extension Office located at 210 East Water Street in Farmerville. The workshop scheduled from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. is free and open to the public.
LSU AgCenter Northeast Region Wildlife and Forestry Agent Luke Stamper, Louisiana Forestry Association Executive Director Buck Vandersteen, Forestry Consultant Jarod Patterson, and Wildlife Biologist Austin Klais will present talks on Louisiana Forestry Association's Role in Sustainable Forestry and Landowner Engagement, Benefits of a Consulting Forester, Early Successional Habitat Management, and Cost Share Programs.
