Pet Show

The Caldwell 4-H Pet Show is scheduled to be held Monday, March 13 at Caldwell Parish High School. Registration will be at 1:30 p.m. with the Pet Show starting at 2:00 p.m.

Contest Rules

  1. All animals must be in cages or on a leash.
  2. 4-H members can enter one category, two categories, or all three categories, but they cannot enter two animals in the same category.
  3. Contestants will give a short speech about themselves and their pet which should include:
  • contestant's name, age, grade and school
  • pet's name and how name was chosen
  • where they got their pet and how long they have had it
  • care required for their pet
  • what their pet can do, a funny or interesting story about their pet

Categories

  • Dogs
  • Small animals (turtles, lizards, birds, cat, rabbits)
  • Large animals (goats, sheep, horses, cows)
