Should you need an ADA accommodation to participate in Caldwell 4-H, please contact 4-H agent Jana Bennett at 318-649-2663.
This contest is designed to encourage 4-H members to learn more about the beef industry, meat science and nutrition while developing marketing, communication, organizational and research skills. The 2023 Beef Poster Contest theme is "Beef: A Sustainable Choice" and should communicate the all-around health, nutrition, economic, etc. benefits of beef.
All participants in the parish contest will receive ribbons. Cash awards will be given to first, second and third place winners. First place posters will be sent to Baton Rouge and entered in the State Beef Poster Contest. A 4-H member is allowed to win each division only once at the state contest level.
This contest is sponsored by the Caldwell Cattleman's organization and the Caldwell 4-H Foundation.
