(Video 07/29/21) A rainy spring and summer across south Louisiana has slowed the growth of this year’s sugarcane crop just as the planting season is about to begin. Some good news for growers is that they will have two new varieties available to them, and each show promise. LSU AgCenter correspondent Craig Gautreaux has this report.
