Traci Simon, Vermilion Parish
A former 4-H member, Mrs. Simon has served many roles throughout her 17 years as a 4-H volunteer, including School Club Leader, Judge, camp leader, and Jr. Leader chaperone for many field trips and camps.
Initially volunteering with 4-H to be involved in her child's activities, Mrs. Simon began her 4-H volunteer career as a local school leader. Later, when the club leader retired, she assumed the position and began organizing record book training, demonstration workshops, community service projects, and fundraising activities for her school club.
Having written demonstrations and trained 4-H members with speeches and presentations, Mrs. Simon has helped host parish demonstration day for 15 years. Furthermore, she has been honored for many awards including service pins, Vermilion Parish Achievement Day Honoree, and Outstanding Parish Club.
We are thankful for Mrs. Simon’s dedicated career as a 4-H volunteer and hope you will join us in welcoming Mrs. Traci Simon to the Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame!
